The Maserati Grecale Folgore: The Future is Electric

As more and more automakers electrify their fleets, Maserati is following suit. By 2025, the luxury automaker plans to roll out electric Maserati vehicles for all of the available models. The first ever Maserati EV will be the 2024 Maserati Grecale Folgore. The word folgore is quite the fitting name, as it is the Italian word for lightning, which will be given to the future electric versions of all of the other Maserati models, including the Maserati GranTurismo Folgore. And surely, the Maserati Grecale Folgore is set to be a bolt of lightning itself and will be capable of some mind-boggling speeds never seen before on any other Maserati model. The electric Maserati crossover will make its way onto the roads in Newton and Wayland and across the United States sometime during the fall of 2023.

What We Know So Far About the Maserati Grecale Folgore 

The starting price for the first-ever Maserati EV is estimated to be around $75,000 MSRP. While there is still much we don’t know about this all-new electric Maserati crossover, the Grecale Folgore is expected to come standard with all-wheel drive, just like the current Grecale. Exact horsepower figures haven’t been disclosed yet, but the Maserati Grecale Folgore will easily be able to generate over 500+ horsepower. As for torque, the Maserati EV will be able to unleash up to 590 lb-ft of torque on the roads in Sudbury. Powering the Grecale will be a 105.0-kWh battery that is estimated to deliver an excellent electric driving range of around 300 miles on a single charge.

Rumored Interior Features On The Maserati Grecale Folgore

Again, the exact details of the interior and infotainment features on the electric Maserati crossover are still unknown, but the Grecale Fologre is said to mimic some of the same features that are found in the current Grecale, which includes the following:

• Gauge Cluster with Reconfigurable Screen
• 12.3-inch Infotainment Touchscreen
• 8.8-inch Climate Control and Vehicle Function Screens
